STUDNITZKY - KY!
(with Claudio Puntin, Paul Kleber, Bodek Janke & Tim Sarhan)
STUDNITZKY is back!
KY! is his new, epic album – and the name of his powerful new superband.
After an intense chapter as the founder of XJAZZ and an enabler for others, STUDNITZKY’s creative energy has now erupted into a work that unites it all: multi-instrumentalism, genre-transcendence, and emotional depth. And with it, one of his strongest qualities becomes visible again: the ability to connect people and sound – and to shape something greater from it.
The music grooves with intensity and hypnosis. The melodies are pure beauty – raw, deep, moving.
The band is a collective with the power of a soloist – and soloists with the intelligence of a collective.
A true supergroup of the German scene.
Is it jazz? He’s won the ECHO Jazz and played every major jazz festival in the world.
Is it classical? The album features the chamber orchestra of the Odesa Philharmonic – and yes, he has received the Opus Klassik as well.
And it grooves like Berlin – infused with minimal techno, organic club spirit, yet still 100% handmade.
Call it what you want – but it’s more than music.
The collaboration with the Odesa Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra is more than a gesture – it’s a project grown in wartime Odesa, leaving deep emotional traces in audiences in Ukraine, Germany, and in STUDNITZKY’s music.
KY! is a musical uprising. A response to darkness. A radical commitment to beauty, truth – and the kind of power that can only emerge in true togetherness.
